Watercolours For Novices

A Sacred Arts’ Series (15 hours)

Dates: Fridays – Sept. 6, 13, 20, 27 & Oct. 4
(Sequel to be offered in early January, 2020)
Times: 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Registration Fee: $225/person + GST
(10% discount for St. Mary’s Community and SAGA members)

Come and join others learning about watercolours for beginners, including paint, brushes, Colour Theory, using various papers and developing imagination. Numerous projects will be undertaken in this 5-week evening series.

Some participants will use this course as a pathway to an Iconography course.

*This course can be used to fulfill the requirements of the Sacred Arts Foundations’ Level Certificate at StMU

Alla Kireyeva shares her deep artistic passion for the Sacred Arts with area children and adults. Her understandings of colour, technique and connections to sacred symbols build rich learning of skill sets with those who are new to watercolours and who may wish to take an iconography course in the future.
