George Brookman is a well-known Calgary business leader and prominent volunteer in the not-for-profit community. He is a third generation Albertan and was born in Calgary. Most of his early career was spent in the Real Estate Development Industry, initially with Manulife Financial and then later as Vice-President of Development for ATCO Ltd. In 1984, he acquired West Canadian Industries Group, Canada’s leading digital print and document management organization. Mr. Brookman works tirelessly to ensure the highest possible quality of life for future generations and his outstanding and exemplary contributions have been recognized at local, provincial and national levels. In addition to his own company, Mr. Brookman has maintained a life-long commitment to caring about others and giving back to his community serving on the Board of Directors for Travel Alberta, the Calgary Flames Foundation and the Calgary Stampede Foundation.
