The film industry provides us with many opportunities to explore conscious aging in a meaningful way. Viewing the movies and participating in focused discussion is a positive aspect of each session in this series.
Movies trigger discussion of issues in this “third act” of life as you are guided in relating the stories to your own life in a safe and respectful environment. Distinguished elder actors take on roles related to mentoring, facing mortality, forgiveness, transformation, life choices and wisdom of life experience, and more.
Judy Steiert is a Conscious Aging Facilitator and a certified Sage-ing Leader. Judy has led courses and presented talks related to Conscious Aging throughout Alberta and at numerous USA conferences over the past ten years.
We look forward to being with you in this unique series.

The process of reflective journaling facilitates inner growth, self-discovery, healing, increased awareness and a deepening of our relationship with God. Come explore the inner landscape of your soul, God’s beloved creation.
This 6-week series will be grounded in the prayer St. Francis repeatedly offered to God in his travels throughout Italy, “Who am I and Who Are You?”
We will explore this prayer throughout Journaling as a Spiritual Practice with photography, art, poetry, scripture, nature, meditation and the daily interactions within our lives. Session times will be a combination of some presentations, considerable experiential time and some discussions.
Please Note: Bring a journal and a pen or pencil with you to each session.
