Dual Credit

Dual credit is an agreement between a university and a high school whereby students in high school can enroll in a course and simultaneously earn high school and university credit. St. Mary’s has entered in to an agreement with Bishop O’Byrne High School that allows student to earn credit for the Advanced Acting 35 and Drama 203 at the same time.

Dual credit provides an opportunity for high school students to experience university teaching and learning, thus helping ensure a smooth transition to university upon completion of high school.
